What are SITPA objectives?
SITPA is guided by the following objectives as captured within the constitution:
- To serve as a self-defined framework supporting SACCO IT Professionals and the institutions they serve.
- To advocate for the common technological challenges faced by SACCO.
- To promote the growth and sustainability of SACCOs by adopting technology.
- Encourage proactive partnerships, collaboration and knowledge sharing amongst SACCOs.
- To promote innovation and increased value provided by financial technology providers.
- To build an engagement point with financial technology providers, SACCOs, umbrella bodies, regulators and the government.
- To provide an avenue for SACCOs to give feedback on commendations or concerns regarding their vendors
- To intervene when SACCOs need a technology provider vetting, rating or recommendation.
- To train, support mentorship and coaching from within as well as learning and development
